TRAVELING I-75 NORTH?
I-75 (Fisher Fwy) is closed between I-96 and Clark until December, 2009. Meanwhile, here's an easy way around that closure:

Exit at Livernois. Upon exiting, turn RIGHT and get into the far left lane.
Turn LEFT onto Fort Street.
Continue on Fort Street (east toward downtown) to Washington Blvd. and turn LEFT.
Follow Washington Blvd. to Park Ave. and turn RIGHT.
Continue on Park Ave., crossing Woodward, to the Detroit Opera House.
